College Snacking

Without Mom moderating what I eat, I end up consuming some pretty ridiculous stuff.

College can be tough when it comes to food, especially for me, since I'm a supertaster.
Just about everything on the menus are off-limits for me because of the flavors.
In order to compensate, I have to resort to a lot of snacking.

Uncooked ramen noodles are DELICIOUS!
Incredibly bad for you, but when you weigh as much as you did 7 years ago at age 13, it doesn't really matter.

Mmm, delicious candy!
My mom's friend got married to the owner of a candy company, and she bought this for me.
It was tough to eat something so cute!

When all else fails, get your food in liquid form!
This was oddly delicious, but gave me a stomach ache afterwards.
I guess I need some solid food for breakfast as well...

Well, that's all for now!

  1. Hey, just saw the food tag on your post and was immediately drawn to it. Yeah, a bit weird. Hehe.

Anyway, what's the deal with you and college food? Why can't you eat most of it?

  2. It's really complicated, actually. XD
I'm a supertaster, which basically means that I taste bitterness and sourness waaay more intensely than the average person. There's also a certain chemical present in most vegetables that I can taste that some people can't... In other words, almost everything is inedible because it tastes so bad. :[
There's some stuff about supertasters on wikipedia... the only thing we're good for is wine tasting, I even hate that!
