Slow and steady wins the meaning of life

It's been a while since I've written anything at all, so I guess it's time to catch up on what has been going on.

First of all, I quit playing Defender of Texel. I just couldn't stay interested anymore. The Nergal nerf really killed the game for me. I had spent so much time and effort saving up for one, only to have it become practically useless in both raid and special dungeon. My log-in issues didn't help me stay faithful to game either.
That means I officially don't play any Mobage game anymore. Never thought I'd see the day.

I also have (once again) run into health issues. In November I had an IUD put in called Mirena, and though my doctor warned me that it would take my body about six months to get used to it, I never expected it to be this bad. I have problems staying asleep, and then I sleep too much. Some days I have to pee constantly, and when I do pee, I'm astounded how little I actually peed. Usually I have a bladder of steel, so this is really odd. Some days I have awful breast pain, which makes hugging and accidentally bumping into things problematic. I'm also somewhat suspicious that it's behind my recent weight fluctuations. A week ago I weighed more than I ever have in my entire life, and that scared me enough to go on a diet.
I'm honestly a hot hormonal mess.
Oh, and did I mention the zits? I thought I said farewell to outbreaks when I hit 18, but NOOOO. Mirena has brought them back. Just a week ago I looked like goddamn Rudolph due to an unfortunate zit on the tip of my nose.

Generally speaking, I haven't made any YouTube videos, haven't made any crafts, or done much in terms of being productive other than study my brains out for my Medical Terminology class.
I did manage to put together a light box and photograph my needle-felted items, however.

I guess that's something.
Basically I'm going to be making a slow move over to Storenvy from Etsy, retaking all of my photos to make them somewhat uniform. My needle-felt stuff will be the first to be placed up for sale, followed by the rest of my stuff.
My ultimate goal is to open up my shop and make some cash to spend on materials I need for resin-casting. Though my dad and I have already planned a little craft store shopping spree for my birthday, that will only be able to cover the essentials. I'd love to one day have an airbrush, pressure chamber, powder pigments for resin, and all of the amazing paint I could ever dream of.

So, that's about it. My life right now is eat (but less than usual, damn diet), sleep, study. I've been feeling so crappy that I haven't even touched a computer in almost a week. It sucks.
But that's life.

I just hope that when my birthday comes around and I have the opportunity to make my first resin toy, I'll feel like things are coming back together instead of being a big, annoying mess.
