A shoutout to one of my favorite blogs: Kaiju Korner

Today I just have to make a brief shout-out to one of my favorite blogs...

Kaiju Korner!

Basically, there is no other blog like this on the net.

Andy, the owner of the blog, makes sure to photograph and attend toy festivals in Japan so those of us overseas can see the new releases and general amazingness that these festivals have to offer.

He also does write-ups on various aspects of Japanese culture, from vintage toys and memorabilia to modern customs and more!

If you want to take a peek into the world of kaiju, sofubi, and Japanese madness, please take a visit

Skullbrainer Show @ Clutter Gallery

I'm exhausted from all the excitement so I'm not going to type much (again), you can read about my experience on my Instagram post.

Some crappy phone photos from the show. Wish I got more photos (I know for sure I didn't photograph everything) but there was a professional photographer going around and I didn't want to get in his way. Then blah blah blah I forgot.

Toys in SPORE: My sofubi obsession has no bounds

I made some of my personal collection of sofubi (Japanese vinyl) toys into creatures in the game SPORE!

Thought I'd share.

(Excuse the horrible quality of these photos, I was lazy and didn't care about lighting.)

And here are their SPORE counterparts!
