A little word of advice to all you dumbfucks who are against violence in video games... I have some crazy ideas for you.
1.) Don't let your kids play a game you don't agree with
2.) Realize that fantasy and reality are two completely different things, and aren't reflective of each other.
In real life I'm a 24 year old female college student with a great boyfriend, a love for animals, and I'm working towards becoming a do-it-yourself toy maker.
When I play open-world games like Fallout: New Vegas, I play a male, mohawked psychopath who collects human body parts and knives, and decorates my home with them.
Does my fantasy life spill over into my real life?
No, because games aren't real and have no consequence.
In reality, I have a conscience, I have my morals, and I have a life.
If you can't separate the two, then maybe playing video games, watching movies, reading books, and even having goddamn dreams at night aren't for you, and you should see a psychiatrist immediately.

Etsy, Rovio... WHAT THE HELL?
I woke up this afternoon (yes, I'm aware my sleep schedule is messed up) to this email in my inbox...
"ETSY INFRINGEMENT NOTICE"
Let me put this simply... I did not make a clay representation of anything from the game.

Let me put this simply... I did not make a clay representation of anything from the game.
I made a bird. A bird that is angry. You know, A COMMON ANIMAL, AND AN EMOTION THAT EVERYBODY CAN DISPLAY.
I did not, however, take anything from Angry Birds.
This was my clay piece:
And lets take a look at the Angry Birds.
(This is from The Oatmeal, because finding a picture from Rovio would be a bad idea at this point.)
First of all... MY BIRD HAS FEET.
My bird is not a legless ball whose only forms of transportation are hopping, and of course, slingshot.
He also has wings, which the Angry Birds lack.
NONE of the birds have any purple, anywhere.
Oh, but there is a blue bird you might say? Well guess what. THE BLUE BIRD ISN'T EVEN ANGRY.
The Angry Birds don't have yellow eyes either.
My bird is just a bird. A bird that is angry.
NOT AN ANGRY BIRD.
Honestly Etsy, honestly Rovio...
WHAT THE BLOODY HECK.
Is this little figurine really all that threatening to you guys?
You'd think that THESE would be a little more dangerous, wouldn't you think?
But no.
Thanks for picking on me, bastards.

Miffed About Management
Complaining about work can get you in trouble, as far as I've seen in news reports where some people tweeted insults about their bosses and such... so I'm trying to be careful.
But I'm very upset right now.
The manager didn't send me this week's schedule until today... as in Tuesday. (I know it's past midnight, but I haven't gone to sleep yet so... yeah.)
He sent it by TEXT.
My hours have been cut in half, and he wouldn't reply as to why, even though I asked twice.
If he had told me this on Monday, or even Sunday, I could have booked a train ticket to Delaware and visited Jon for 3 days.
Sigh.
So now I can't see Jon, I'm only working 14 hours this week, and at minimum wage, that's really not much.
I guess that gives me more time to do crafting, but I really would have liked to see Jon... or at least be able to work.
Guess there's nothing I can do about it.
It sure is disappointing though.
I just hope things don't continue on like this at my job...

Brutal Honesty
Okay, I'm going to be horribly and brutally honest right now.
I am a lazy fuck.
Am I proud of it? Hell no.
There's something slightly disturbing about the fact that I can be completely content sitting in front of a computer just about all day, browsing the web, screwing around with Creatures 3, and playing computer games.
Am I going to do something about it?
I try, but nothing ever seems to stick.
This weekend I'm finally going to turn in my job applications to Gamestop and Barnes & Noble. I've been putting it off because I don't want to go to the mall for 5 minutes just to drop off the apps. Since I can't drive, I'd probably be dragged off to a million other stores with my mom anyway.
That's something else I've been putting off... getting my license.
I kind of get the feeling that I'll have to run a lot of errands for the family if I get my license... once again, I'm lazy.
I have to figure out what the hell motivates me.
I'm getting sick of my complacency with my current lifestyle.
I guess I'm going to force myself to work on some clay things today. I made a sale on April 6th, and that made me incredibly happy.
Maybe if I work a bit more I can get another, and that happiness will motivate me to work harder?
I hope that logic works.
